Definitely. She's got a decent draw for the second round too, Safarova (currently ranked 60). I think she can win that.

But it gets tougher from there, probably Bartoli in the third round (I'd back her to win that too though) then *gulp* Jankovic.

I'd say the one positive about being on Jankovic's side of the draw again is that shes already had the experience of playing her in a Grand Slam, so I'd imagine she'd have less nerves facing her again, instead of taking on Ivanovic, Serena Williams, Safina, etc. One step at a time of course, fourth round is a way off yet, though agreed that shes not been handed a bad draw. ;)

I don't. Feel free to drag this post up and act smug if she does, but Šafářová is as much of a talent.

Easy day for Andy Murray, on court for less than an hour before Pavel retires, looks like Lleyton will be on earlier in the day than was anticipated.

I agree she's as much of a talent, so it should be a close match. But I said I believe she can win, and I stand by that. Whether or not she will remains to be seen. Often depends on whether she can get her first serve going. Sometimes it deserts her altogether, with disastrous results.

I don't do smug well, so I'll pass on that offer, but thanks anyway.

That was a shaky start by Hewitt, but he came back well to hold serve with five points in a row.
