Men's tennis in grand slams is becoming boring, again. Looks like a Federer-Nadal final again unless some of the new boys have something to say. Also, surprising to see a lack of Argentinians around at this stage!

it'd be nice to think Djokovic could produce something against Rafa, but anything more than taking a set is wishful thinking...

Ana Ivanovic into the final. Hopefully she can take it right to Henin.

Ana's so awesome

Reckon Djokovic would have had a real shout against Federer. Davydenko won't have the mental fortitude to take it to Feds unfortunately, even if he gets in a decent position he'll choke like he did vs. Raf recently.

Vintage Davydenko choke! Absolutely typical of the man.

Serving 4-2 up in the 1st set, serving for the set in the 2nd and the 3rd sets, and yet loses to Federer in straight sets. Awful stuff.

can't stand Davydenko tbh, so glad he lost, and in such a typical davydenko way to lose as well. Hopefully now Djokovic can produce the upset of the tournament and beat Nadal :D

Never had a chance, Raf downs Djokovic in straight sets. Djokovic played a good first set to come back from 5-2 down to level at 5-5, but from there it was all Raf.

Can't wait till Sunday night tbh. Had Nadal been in Davydenko's shoes Federer would have been put away in straight sets. Federer is going to need to bring his A game, and whilst I hope he doesn't purely from a financial perspective, from a theatrical one, I hope he does.

just too many errors for federer, especially on his usually trusty forehand....nadal just wears you down on this surface....

Nadal will surely go down as the greatest clay courter of all time if he keeps going like this.

Safest $200 bet I've ever put. Thank you Nadal you legend :D I knew Nadal losing to Federer at Hamburg was a blessing. Nadal's odds jumped up to very generous levels considering the only way Nadal was going to not win Roland Garros was if he got injured.

I reckon the commentators hit the nail on the head. Federer has to stop trying to be super genius, and hitting winners from all over the court, and just become a better physical player, and increase his fitness levels if he wants any chance at all of ever beating Nadal on clay in a best of 5 sets. Federer is under so much pressure to hit ridiculous winner after ridiculous winner, and he can only do that for a set or two max before Nadal steps it up.

Way to go yet. When he goes past Bjorn Borg's 6 French Open titles then yes
he is only 21, already has 3 titles, already has the record for most number of consecutive victories on the surface, federer's window for winning there is narrowing(he still has a couple more quality years on clay if he remains injury-free but after that it's difficult to see him go all the way at roland garros), no other real contender in sight(djokovic might break through but we don't know yet)....he can do it...
