hes decent but hes performed above his ability in the last 12 months, much like another first round loser James Blake...

ARGH! I had a feeling Vliegen would beat Gasquet today, or at least have a chance. Have withdrawn all my internet betting acc money to buy some birthday gifts, so wanted to hit a TAB today to place a little on him. Was paying well over $5, which was ridiculously generous. My mate wouldn't let me because he didn't want to be late, and Vliegen goes and smashes Gasquet in 3 sets.

****'s sake.

Vliegen = gun, dunno how many more times i need to say it before he plays to his potential for more than two matches in a row...

Anyone else see the Hewitt - Gaudio Match last night? Awesome stuff:cool:
i actually thought it was a bit of a let down, kinda like a crap game of footy that finishes within a couple of points, sure the end is good but everything leading up is just boring.
Neither guy really played that great imo, hewitt was ordinary in the first two sets and gaudio rubbish in the next three, the sheer fact it went five sets people are raving about it...

If Djokovic goes out today, (and possibly Hewitt too, he's a set down but that often means nothing with him) Nadal is literally going to waltz into the final. His draw is opening up amazingly if these two lose, or even just one of them, and its not like Raf needed an easy draw anyway.

Hewitt still in but he has had two tough matches, just hope he holds up enough to give Nadal a good contest:happy:

Well Djokovic ended up winning in 5 sets, Hewitt in 4.

Nadal/Hewitt could be good, but he's had much more court time than Nadal. And I think Raf may just plan on moving him left, right, back and forward all day.

Probably could have taken the third set, considering he was 4-2 up in the tie-break but he made unforced errors at the wrong time, and then Nadal just fought back like the gun he is.

Tonight's matches will be interesting. Davy vs. Canas should be good IMO.

Haha Hewitt got murdered in that game tho i wasn't expecting anything different. Anyone how is Federer playing like? Does he look like he will win the French Open this year?

the way the williams sisters bitch after losing is really pathetic.... you hear different versions of "she didn't win, i lost" after each loss....
