Well ganguly in the pre match show said he had a word with raina and asked why aaron hasnt been picked in playing XI this tour. raina said he had pace but he was all over the place in nets. So maybe thats why he hasnt been picked, although ganguly was still saying that he should have been picked as he doesnt rate vinay kumar highly

They picked Sreesanth for the Tests, even though he has no pace and is all over the place.

Played 1 Test against Sri Lanka, been in and around the ODI side all summer, as well as playing 8 Championship games for Middlesex, taking 34 wickets @20, 8 T20 games (7 wickets @ 25) and 5 OD games (12 wickets @ 13)

Rahane looks very composed against some fiery stuff. Good balance at the crease and looks good when he plays percentage cricket. Why would you look to slog over extra-cover with such a nice overall package?

Yup - Flower won't put up with much of that sort of crap from soemone who's supposed to play the game for a living. FRO back to Nottingham mate.

Inexperience,i guess.

Happened last game too.It's almost as if he suddenly starts feeling pressure of having a slow Strike rate and get all fidgety and starts to play big shots.

Probably down to playing most cricket in India where maximising the first 10/15 overs is important before the slower bowlers come in and the pitch slows down. While here it is almost the opposite where you can accelerate later after a slow start.
