Just like Crowboys have been on par or just slightly below the Broncos. What i said before was just a joke in reply to the Simon call that the NSW side is selection baised on the Roosters. Cus if you think that then you could say the same thing about the Broncos.

It is not selection bias towards the Broncos. Before last year, and especially this year the better QLD players have come from the Broncos.

Mate it was a joke, i know that some of Queensland players come from the Broncos, just like some NSW better players come from Roosters and the selection have nothing to do with bais.

But that can't be said for the Australian Team..

nsw deserved to win, i was disapointed with the game, it didnt reach any great heights and the result seemed pretty obvious even when we were leading. Thurston, Bowen and Lockyer looked dangerous for queensland, but our play makers didnt have bodies in motion running off the ball carrier the same way johns and buderus did. lets hope game 3 is a better match.

Pretty true actually. Still, chances are the result would have been fairly different if that try wasn't disallowed. Plenty of balls that went further forward than that one weren't called. Then the Johns 40/20 after that was a killer. Turning point of the game.

Was a rather unremarkable match, except for Joey I guess.

It was a flat game wasn't it. I got that impression anyway. I daresay Steven Clarke will struggle to retain his position in Origin 3

Wow what a good game of footy last night with the Blues winnings ..!! and Andrew Johns played Superb hahaha.. its 1 all now lets hope the blues finish off in the 3rd one !

Clark did nothing wrong imo, he gave very few penalties and kept the two sides apart, he did a much better job than Simpkins did in game 1.

Good win by NSW, from all reports Johns had a great game and now down to Brisbane for the 3rd. Hopefully Mark O'Meley stands up the next two week and is back for the third game, he probably extra zip we need to win the QLD. I'm not sure about Barrett, i heard reports his out for two months and other that he will be back for the 3rd game. Rooney looks out for the next game from early reports, but with Lewis and Grothe as possible replacements it shouldn't effect us too much.

This match shows why I hate most things Newcastle Knights.They have always been one of my disliked clubs.

turning point of the match was ben ross throwing that stupid pass when we defended well at the start of the second half, nsw scored twice on the back of that. i was most disapointed.

Ben Ross is a waste of space. Qld's biggest problem is that we don't have enough points in us and our defense at the back is week. Get Shifcofske, Hodges and Prince in there and get rid of Ross, McGuire & Williams.
