You know that won't happen.

They are in love with him. Did Schicofske annoy the selectors along the line?
Ala, Martin Love he gave the selectors a spray when he was eith dropped or not selected. And rightly so, in his only game he was the best player in a thofoughly beaten side.

If Bowen goes then your better of bringing in Josh Hannay or Steve Bell, Schifcofske useless.
Shifcofske is far from useless, he is the best defensive fullback in the competition and is brilliant in attack. Bowen is too weak in defence, despite is attacking abilities. The selectors should have learnt their lesson last year when the gave the defensively pathetic Wesser a go at fullback.

not to mention he did it playing out of position. Ty Williams needs to go to...
my backline would be
1 Schifcofske
2 Slater
3 Hodges
4 Berrigan
5 Sing
6 Lockyer
7 Thurston
17 Bowman

That would be my backline too. I would really like to see Prince in there, but Thurston has done enough to keep his spot.

Thurston is a better player for the team. he combines well with lockyer, something i feel price doesnt do...

I was watching the replays of last year's 3 games and Prince was everywhere and created a lot of opportunities, so far I haven't seen that from Thurston. I don't think there's any doubt that Prince is the better halfback, but it does seem that Thurston & Lockyer work well together.

Now would be nice for Shane Webcke to come back just for this one game.

Alas, he is as stubborn as brick wall so he won't  :(

He won't come back, and fair enough too. He has done a great job for Queensland, we need to look to the future. Although, I hope they pick Nutley he deserves a go.

Don't you think Slater wasted at wing, in terms od attack. Maybe you should play him in the centres and let him defend on the wing. I remember he started his career at the Storm as a centre and then Ross got injured and he started playing fullback.

Slater is not wasted anywhere, he is a point scorer - the main point is Shifcofske must be there for his dual abilities in defence and attack. I hope he has a blinder this week! Slater can be on the wing in attack and hodges can defend the wing in defence. But yes, I do think Slater is more of a centre than a fullback.

Parker has been in great form in the last few weeks. I think hes just about leapfrogged all those other guys and will probably get the spot in origin...

Yeah, I guess unless anyone has an absolute blinder on the weekend, it will be between Parker & Nutley - and they both could get a spot yet, if the selectors leave out Bowen.
