Honestly I'm completely baffled by how that happened. I can only assume Dickwella completely misread the ball initially and was shifting to the right, because there's no way in hell you have a situation where keeper and slip have to dive/move sharply to get a catch between them.

Hard to decide whether Lane or Fleming is worse. Fleming is more annoying but Lane is so boring, has absolutely nothing to say. Also sounds out of breath a lot.

Lane is basically just a dedicated ball by ball commentator IMO, although he's definitely dull. Fleming is legitimately irritating on a regular basis.

At least with Tim Lane he's merely a ball-by-ball dude so the fact that he adds little isn't that much of a flaw. As long as you can keep the conversation going OK and don't make severe mistakes it's hard to be too awful as a ball-by-ball comm in a sport like cricket.
