man lyon's banter was so lame
Oath. I don't know why people think being on the sporting field is an excuse to act like a prick

It wasn't cheeky Tim Paine banter it seemed he was trying to intimidate. Reminds me of **** you'd see in high school

Yikes, Perera went from being totally fine to looking really awful. Not good.
That's concussion for you. It's never good.

The natural instinct is to turn away. Ironically the best place to get hit on the head is on the brim, cage or badge (the worst of the three). Getting hit on the side of the head like he did often results in concussion when you're facing test pace bowlers.

You know, I thought the 2012 match in Melbourne was problematic for SL.

This is getting right up there.

feel kinda bad for sl since they're touring with no angelo but they've already used up a fair quota of dark magic with their home pitches and the wellington rain assisted rear-guard so nah **** them.

It did look a bit like glove. Hard to tell but it looked more conclusively like he had hit it than Thirrimanne in Brisbane.

I reckon it looked pretty good live but it was obvious as anything that he’d gloved it when they slowed it down, even before hotspot etc

yeah that's a little dumb. Umpire seemed way more concerned with the snicko than the hot spot.

Is there a black and a white rule as to what constitutes a 'spike' on snicko? Like coz there was a faint little dip up of the line, but not the usual big jump it does on obvious nicks. Surely a feather is still out and a feather would result in a very small spike so what gives?

There was enough background noise that I think the dip could've been seen as being more background noise.

Not an easy decision for the third umpire especially given the mark on HotSpot didn't really follow the bat. I think he hit it though.
