Yes so am I ,I have seen matches where the ball deviates from its original line late on and is past the batsman..I am not saying this happened in this circumstance but just that a ball CAN deviate due to late swing..

Sorry mate but have you been watching a different match?Some of the cover drives he played were absolutely fantastic even before you take into account the wicket and the quality of swing bowling he is facing too??He has been on the up for most of the year...

Never seen a test match which has boiled down to a war of attrition before. To hell with bowling in the corridoor. All four seamers must join in with this attack and just make it relentless.

Pitch here seems to be a winner, much more bounce than with the old clay.

Think match will be decided on how well NZ batsman cope with Herath.

Fair enough, I agree that as was said before,his shot selection has been poor at times but his ability and technique is clear..

Yeah SL are probably going to turn to the short bowling barrage quite quickly if they don't have much success with the new ball.
