He was also missed by Dhoni...a stumping chance that he fumbled.
That happened in the first game too didn't it? Just that no one cared because India slaughtered SL. When we lose however its so frickin' obvious. Why can't we get our keeping right for Christ's sake.

What a fantastic hundred by Sangakkara, and Jayawardene's run-a-ball knock in support has been just as good.

i was wondering what you meant by that comment till now hahaha, he sounds like an old lady :D
Yes he does lol, I just don't understand it. How can someone with such a voice get a job commentating.

Anyway Jayawardene has holed out. Great knock which SL badly needed.

Pathan always struggles to bowl at the death, he really needs to improve on that because he's getting belted.

49.1 Agarkar to Maharoof, SIX, what was that! short ball and Maharoof
flat bats it over the long-on fence - that a mighty hit - can they
get to 300?

Sangakkara is seriously in the form of his life, batting through the whole innings. What a wonderful knock, absolutely wonderful.

298. ;) Supreb knock by Sanga and great batting at the end by Mahroof. This is our first really challenge, lets see how we deal with it.

This really will be pretty tough for India, and as so often the trend has been that we win two consecutive games only to lose the next one or even the next two for that matter, so i'm not confident on our batsmen doing well this game. You know, the law of averages thing. ;)

Great stuff by Sangakkara though, the only batsman to hold his head up high against Australia in the Super Series ODI's is now doing the job against India. Probably the second best Wicketkeeper/Batsman in World Cricket.

Here's an early prediction though, Sehwag to be dismissed for less than or equal to 40 runs in this innings. I give him 40 runs because i'm an optimist, but I dont see him doing well in the second innings. Most likely, he'll hit a couple of boundaries and then be on his way back.

MB you always show your face when India are in trouble :p

What is best about this target for India is that it is likely that the youngsters are going to have to come to the party today. Rao, Raina and Dhoni may have to bat with the pressure on and the run rate required high, it'll be interesting to see how they handle it as they've been reasonably untested in this series yet.

It'll be interesting to see if Dhoni being sent at 3 as the pinch hitter pays off. It seems like India aren't playing anyone regularly at 3 with Kaif out injured.
