***Official*** Sri Lanka in England

Looks a close finish on the cards . England with wickets in hand must fancy their chances. 2/90 after Jayasuriya claimed KP.

*am not watching this live on TV ATM *:D
(merely following Cricinfo updates )

Paul Collingwood is great allrounder to have in limited over version of the games.
4/22 remarkable . SL lost their way after a good start . (which is the norm for SL :) these days )

Anything you can do ....

4 down, not a lot of batting to come, and over 10 an over needed. Looks all over unless Tres can do something remarkable.

Great entertainment for the Fans at Rose Bowl .(Especially after England pulled off a last 10 minute winner over T & T with Peter Crouch and Gerrard's goals )

But not to be a win for England on the Cricket field. SL pull off 2 run win.

* Coincidentally England's major performers in the Football game and 20/20 cricket have same initials PC (Peter Crouch and Paul Collingwood:D )

no SL bowler bowled a no-ball in almost 20 overs:blink:
even more amazing considering that maharoof and fernando were both playing:laugh:

It's amazing what that free-hit rule does to people's front feet.

My housemate got £2 at 7/4 on a Sri Lanka win... we were trying to beat the Ladbrokes.com odds in the closing stages, did a pretty decent job in the end.

KP was a disappointment, did not fancy it I guess. He looked like a prat in the field and batted no better.
