Isn't that BST? I'm only asking because the previous guy was asking about GMT.
yeah, that's BST so add 4.30 hours then it's 11.45pm sri lankan time, that's just great!

Don't know about GMT but I know it starts at 5:30 AM NZ time , so Alarm Clocks and early wake up for quick shower , get into work clothes and then front of Telly for 2 1/2 hours before work (in between looking at World Cup soccer  ) - That's my programme early tomorrow morning NZ time.:D

haha, you sure have your priorities sorted out Jason. :D

I'd let Harmison open the batting in a 2020 game. What is there to lose?

An early wicket
Well yes, but you'd hope the other 9 could see out the 20 overs. I do think Harmy's approach has something to offer during the fielding restrictions, however long they may last in 2020.

Norwood's on Fire
Well GBH is one of those bowlers who will either hit six or get out. You're probably right. I'd be extreeeemely surprised if it ever happened mind you.

Do not know why England just did not select Mal Loye or some other 20/20 domestic God. 20/20 ideally should be a lone being, like Rugby sevens, it should have no relation to the test team or even the one day team for that matter. In KP’s instance his good enough to play all three but Ed Joyce, Andrew Strauss (regardless of what they do tonight) are not two of the best 20/20 cricketers around. 20/20 team should comprise itself of the best 20/20 cricketers, who cares if you average 40 in test cricket, if you tart *** around and fail to hit runs quickly then you should not be in the team.

Ah but they're treating it as a warm-up of sorts for ODIs aren't they? Plus paying customers want to see the stars

Not this thing about how it should be like rugby sevens again.

It gets bigger crowds than any other form of cricket at domestic level, it has a proper World Cup which countries will pick strong squads for, it gets full houses whenever it is played Internationally. Cricket has a sixes version already. There may well be lots of privately organised Twenty20 tournaments, leagues etc. in the future but it will keep being played at the top level as well.

What has that got to do with the price of milk? all I said was that the best 20/20 players should play. The Rugby seven remark was in regard to the selection of players who excel in one form of the game not that it should be a Mickey Mouse tournament that no one really cares about.

Chapple replaced in the ODI squad by Kabir Ali, in the wake of his abdominal strain. I'm assuming that means an international debut for Tim Bresnan at number eight today.
