Sri Lanka have bowled 80 overs with their spinners. Matthew should be bowling more..
No, his bowling really isn't suited to Sri Lankan wickets, he bangs it in hard without getting much swing and he isn't particularly accurate either, even with a seamer down it's barely worth it given the spinners are doing a decent job.

Need to wrap up the tail fairly quickly given we are a bowler short and we will feel the pinch as the day goes on, looking at the pitch I'd say 400 is a good score rather than par or the bare minimum, 350 looks to be par with reverse swing playing a role and the pitch starting to break up a little already. Duminy will be tough on this pitch

Still a flat pitch, not too much turn and the surface isn't breaking much yet, with rain possible later in the match the draw is certainly still on

Duminy looking to manage his partners. so 430 is possible..

Ps half the time I post from my phone the message. it sometimes just disappears on cricketweb... really frustrating. or is it just me?

come on bud. its hopefull thinking :D want to do win this game in four days, but Mahela and Kumar scores insanely vs SA. So they will be the biggest threat.
Matthews has gotta be a threat as well, has been in insane form this year, Chamdimal at 7 and Dilruwan at 8 aren't pushovers either, you should knock over Tharanga early if you guys test him outside off well enough though

Lakmal has been good. Extremely accurate, a little bit of movement, and reasonable pace all day.

Really want him to get some nice pitches to bowl on at some stage in his career.

Can't wait to see him in NZ later this year, was cut when he got injured before the England series.

I am still reasonably happy with 414/8 at tea.

Duminy on 72*
You guys are right on top, batted brilliantly

He will do well in NZ. I'm worried about it because that's a series NZ should win easily. But Sanga has an excellent record in NZ I believe and I think Mathews will also do well.

Our spinners are just unable to really generate significant bounce with their height and actions it makes them a little too easy to sweep, it's where a guy like Randiv is handy
