Haven't heard anything, but he's no longer in the squad and the 'A' team now needs both an opening batsman and a captain so I imagine he'd be sent over to England

He did mate, i know, bad decision for me too.dont get me wrong, I rate Tharanga but not in place of Karu who i thought was building a solid partnership with Silva in terms of test opening partnerships..

Yeah, Tharanga had been playing very well for his club and the 'A' team tbf, appears to have tightened up his game somewhat as well, but as YorksLanka said there was no real reason to drop Dimuth in the first place

last i saw him was ages ago, but back then a cardboard box placed in front of the stumps would have been a better test opener. i hope he's improved otherwise it's a horrible call.

Looks much tighter outside off-stump, although it seems he's fixed that by moving his head across, he could be an LBW candidate now, still possesses enormous talent though.

South Africa's day but getting through that period should give us a lot of confidence
