this is just like the SL vs Ind series. first team batting gets in to loads of trouble due to seam movement, then the movement dies down and when the other team comes to bat its flat as a pancake.
Oh Please..not again...

INDIA-SL 1st game , India batted first scored 350

2nd ODI was a D/N match.

3rd match SL batted first, scored 298

4th match, SL batted first scored 261

5th match D/N

6th game, Okay SL scored less than 200, but hardly due to the pitch

7th game, SL won the toss, decided to bat..meaning there wasn't much in the pitch else they would have opted to field.

I agree, even though I think the pitch did lend a hand in this morning's collapse, that wasn't the main factor. The main factor was the good bowling/bad batting. I saw the first five wickets before coming to work, and that honestly was the impression I got. Even though the pitch did stay lower than expected the bowlers had to exploit that.

Right now Smith is definitely a man with a mission! 48 from 35 balls!

Unfortunely Ontong was just caught - Aparently it was a blinder of a catch, wish I could see it!

And just after I post that, he goes and get himself bowled! 8-)

77/3 come on, these guys jus love digging holes for themselves! :@

I do still believe that SA are the favourites to win it, I just hope that Kallis and Prince can get a partnership going!

South Africa are at a severe disadvantage. They are without their best player, Nicky Boje. India have a great chance to win this.
Yeah and India are without their best player Sarandeep Singh

Also, I've been fairly critical of Yuvraj throughout the whole ODI series with his failures but his knock today under pressure was superb. If he can do that more often, he will utilise his talent and become a superb ODI player, rather one that can be excellent but often mediocre.

what i meant was, the pitch got better for batting as the game went on. even this match india were 80 odd for 5 and they ended up getting 250.

Oh yes. He has played two amazing knocks in succsession.

He seems to be back at his best. Hope he is more consistent henceforth.

I am really impressed by the way the new management has handled the two 'firebrands', Harbhajan and Yuvraj. Now both of them dont tire of singing the managements praises (and they reciprocate), Harbhajan has started bowling round the wicket (still cant believe that one) and Yuvraj is so much mellower.

Great job done.

Thanks! :D

It's giving me a gateway timeout at present, but they are busy with our network, so that may be part of the prob, will definitely take a look later!

thanks again!

On Yuvraj - The team management backs a player they believe in against the odds. I am glad by the move.

On Agarkar - He is a useful player for one dayers and his batting adds depth. Not a poor bowler like he is in first class/test cricket. He is putting in good performances and I am glad for him as well.
