And AGAIN!
How can you say this happens regulalry? Maybe once every now and then, but this is consistently occurring once every over or two in the first session of a test match.Nah he's still on my list; deeming that as a distraction when it happens so regularly in cricket is absolutely bull**** IMO.
Well needs to get rid off them ASAP then, doesn't heYou can see Finn's problem clearly there, he's got HUGE knee caps.
Just looked back to when Finn first did it and Smith was at the non strikers end and soon as he knocked them off he had a long discussion with the umpire. How can you say this happens regulalry? Its common sense, Smith said it was distracting him and told the umpire.
I honestly reckon it's just part of the game. Bowlers knock the stumps over accidentally sometimes. Finn was doing it a bit more than usual for sure but it wasn't tactical, it wasn't deliberate, it wasn't every ball and if anything the fact that he's doing it semi-regularly should make it less of a surprise when it happens. How can you say this happens regulalry? It's not against the laws of the game but it was just a terrible interpretation IMO. There is absolutely no reason for batsmen to be so precious.
Maybe.. but batsmen are precious about sightscreens as well... It is their prerogative to complain according to the rules and precedents that exist today and the umpire acted on that basis. Don't see what the fuss is about, to be honest. If a batsman says it is distracting, you have to take it that way as long as it is not very unreasonable and I do not think it was an unreasonable statement here at all..I honestly reckon it's just part of the game. Exactly. It's more of a distraction when it's happening regularly.
Nah look, **** Finn there. If you can't bowl without breaking the stumps as consistently as he does then bugger you. If you don't think it's a distraction when that happens the you've never faced anyone who's timed with something faster than a sun dial.
theres a spreadsheet for thatNah look, **** Finn there. If you can't bowl without breaking the stumps as consistently as he does then bugger you. If you don't think it's a distraction when that happens the you've never faced anyone who's timed with something faster than a sun dial.
Why does he care? If he does hear it, it's not going to be anywhere near as surprising as if he heard it on another day against another bowler.Exactly.
Prince how are you not seeing this? Every ball Smith isn't sure if he's going to hear stumps hit or not. It is more distracting than when it happens once in a test match.
