Its not about selecting the best bowlers. Its about selecting the best bowling attack.
An attack constituting MacGill is, IMO, Australia's best on offer in most conditions.

Very true

MacGill is world class and likely to take wickets in most conditions whilst the status of the other contenders is debatable

Our middle order is certainly starting to take on better shape. This partnership has been excellent, despite the chances. Really looking forward to hopefully seeing Hodges century tomorrow, what a great moment it could be for him.

Hoggy - greatest 12th man ever :D  What a legend.
What did Hogg do?

Wow Pollock strikes early, gets rid of Hussey, and then almost has Symonds according to Cricinfo

Yep, french cut by Symo to get off the mark.

Whilst SA would be happy to get Hussey out, I dont think that their batsmen wouldve been too thrilled to see the way that noth of those balls seamed and bounced.

Pitch still looks good but is getting a bit uneven.

What lead do you reckon would be safe enough for a win? 350 should definetely be good enough, but Australia should be looking at at least 400, and hopefully 450

If Australia declared right now, it'd be a very challenging total.

Does anyone else find Nel great to watch? You just don't see people like him playing international cricket any more. He's hilarious.

Yep. He is a character. Though it is infuriating some times at least he spurs some emotions among the cricket watching public. At least the guy expresses himself.

Definately. I rate him as a bowler as well.
