*Official* Second Test at the Adelaide Oval

Don't worry, ****s, you'll be fine. It's not like you're New Zealand. When Australia's on top, it almost never rains.
Price they pay for living on an awesome green part of the world.
BTW having not seen your XI since your batting countdown, it looks different, is that a sign of what's to come in the bowling 100? Can't wait for that!

Oh boy, has Johnson really proved me wrong. Like others, I'm afraid of an England escape. Need to go 2-0.

Now we're in this good of a position, it would be good to be 2 up. Before the match I thought this was one of the only places the Poms would be the better side (AO). Momentum is a big factor but they still don't have anyone as pacy as MJ or even Harris. We don't have to win.
Hopefully the rain stays away though and it doesn't stop a second strong win.

Only cowards pray for rain. If they get a decent amount of play and England saves it, fair enough I reckon. Clarke knew about the weather and declared accordingly. Can't do much more than that

It is great to see a bowler with such wicket-taking ability in Test cricket. Shame he is bowling in the middle of the night at a time where I have a job.

If it does rain, it makes the decision to bat again for 39 overs quite annoying as we would have had 129 overs to get England out by now and its unlikely they would have even reached 398 in those overs, if still batting.

Weather forecast doesn't look too threatening, only need to break this partnership and it's red rover.

How's the drainage at Adelaide?
Being a newly laid ground, I would imagine all the latest stuff has been put in place. Another interesting drainage story about new grounds is how they conduct a super flush. All the toilets are flushed simultaneously to see if the plumbing can cope. Good job description: "dunny flusher".

How's the drainage at Adelaide?
Excellent. No worries there.

From NAIPS: not looking great for the morning at least. This forecast is valid until 0000GMT so we'll see whether there's any changes but there's heaps of intermittent shower and cloud activity about. The bolded bit means 30% chance of the stuff following it occurring.

FMD that's the last time I ask "What's the weather like?"

Surely Australia paying $1.19 is unbelievable value?!
$1.11 now, but concerned slightly about the weather so will hedge out.

Odds will climb again anyway if there is a delayed start. Aust should still take this out.
