Somewhat surprised at the negative reaction Sheamus winning seems to be getting on the internet. Lots of places have people moaning about how it's devaluing the title etc...etc....which imo is a load of ****, this sort of out of the blue booking is exactly what was needed and congratulate the E on this one. Just have to hope Sheamus can carry the weight of being the champ around his neck, that's if he doesn't drop it straight back tonight, which I wouldn't rule out....but something tells me he will retain. Would also note the importance of him winning it in a stip match which didn't require a pinfall or submission or any sort of knockout....will be interesting to see where it goes.

Also pleased to see McIntyre pick up a win as well, great to see two young guys being pushed high up the card. Just now crossing my fingers that John Morrison gets elevated up the card as well or at least has a good feud with McIntyre.

Yeah, typical IWC to complain about the Sheamus win. They whine about Cena always being champ, about the main event being stale, about people not getting enough of a push. The E put someone over, push him to the hilt, have him beat the #1 guy clean, and suddenly it's a farce. Wrestling is always best when you don't know what will happen. Everyone knew Cena would win last night. Except he didn't. Brilliant.

Yeah completely agree. Jeez I hate the IWC at times. Though I've not been entirely in favour of how the E have done things at times over the year, at the moment we are at a stage where we are having more brand new feuds and more first time champions than at pretty much any stage I can remember for a long time, and the product is benefiting massively as a result. Let's hope it keeps up.

The second half of this year has seen Sheamus, McIntyre, Miz, Kofi and Morrison all pushed to various degrees, and they've all got over. Sheamus's reign won't be a long one, it might even end tonight, but the top and bottom of it is they've backed him and should be commended.

People must forget the main reason why WCW died, i.e. that young talent never got a chance. That's what causes things to go stale, that's what causes the busts in wrestling's boom and bust style.

Haha, I knew you would get it back eventually. My Dad gets rid of it "for once and for all" every 6 months, only for it to return once the football season starts up again or there is a test series on he wants to watch. Alas, at the moment it is away, which is annoying, as the one time I'm at home for most of the year, and I cannot watch anything, very sad. Will still come up to yours for WM.

I'm getting it back because Conwell is moving in in January so it becomes affordable

get the train tickets booked la, and don't forget the rules of mine at Mania, 16 beer minimum and a dirty pizza

Haha, Conwell WAG, that should work out nicely for you actually. Better than living with Yid I imagine.

I will sort the tickets soonish. I can do the minimum of 16 beers if we are talking about bottles, if it's cans....then that'd be dire, could probs just about stomach it, but I would actually want to enjoy the show rather than feel dizzy disorientated throughout! What's a dirty pizza though? Sounds dire.

Haha, obv I'm joking about a minimum amount of beers, drink whatever the **** you want

As for pizza, there's a pizza place down the road, one of the cheap ones, pretty sure that being a student you'd be accustomed to such foods

Haha oh yeah, no trouble, we eat ****ty pizza all the time, as is right when getting drunk. Assumed from the "dirty" tag it was similar to a dirty pint, and was a pizza with literally everything on it or something.

That would be horrendous.

AWTA, would be the devil's breakfast tstl. I couldn't eat half the things on it for a start on their own, let alone in some horrible concoction. Had a friend who had literally everything from the salad section in Subway on whatever he ordered, by the time he actually got to eat it the thing was just a stodgy mess that fell apart as soon as you got it out of the wrapper.

That being said, my Mania pizza this year was doner meat and jalepenos, epic win, bad stomach next day

Hahaha sounds good, would be up for that tbh, imagine you feel the effects immediately after eating though. Other day I put a chilli seed on my lips because I thought it was only soft idiots who would find it more than a bit spicy, ****ing hell, worst pain ever, and it doesn't go away! Dire. Respect veg.

Yuck. Had a Subway this evening actually; chicken breast, lettuce, cucumber and BBQ sauce. Cheese and grilled also. C'etait deliceux.
Going back to the pizza, agree completely. Anchovies make me want to urge, the thought of them along with mushrooms, pepperami and the like is awful.

Man I miss the days of Wrestlemania with all the mates round and ****loads of pizza. Glad to know this is a countrywide thing as well. Will never forget the time Kurt Angle tried to butt**** the Big Show/Eddie Guerrero/Shawn Michaels, i can never remember who he did it too he did it more than once (was supposed to be doing a german suplex off the apron but never looked like that) when we were all around, surprised we didn't wake the entire street up the ruckus we were making laughing at it.

ahahaha oh Kurt.

but yeah good times

haha gutted. Thanks to growing up with this kind of stuff that doesn't bother me at all anymore. when I eat a curry I usually have about 6-7 decent sized raw chilli's with it just to munch on to add a bit of heat and flavour to it, something I picked up off my dad. so most of the time chilli is fine for me. the only time I can think of in recent memory that it ****ed me was when I ate a scotch bonnett raw thinking I could hack it, and if you think a normal chilli seed doesn't go away then **** me don't eat one of those bastards. heatwise it was only about the same or a slight bit hotter than a birds eye (which are pretty hot even for me) but the level of acidity meant it simply did not wash out, severe mouth destruction no matter what trick you tried to get rid of it
