Kenny Omega trying to justify his choice to return to NJPW before AEW on the basis of "AEW is going amazing and doesn't need me right now" is one of the funniest/dumbest takes I've seen in a while.

AEW show in Australia has been moved from the 52,000 capacity Suncorp Stadium to the 15,000ish capacity Brisbane Entertainment Centre after it was realised that booking Suncorp had been rather too ambitious. Those who already bought tickets will be able to retain them.
I thought it was a great sign for AEW that they thought they'd be able to fill a Suncorp Stadium but this has been a reality check.
Also did anyone watch Full Gear? A mostly meh show by AEW standards but Mone vs Statlander was an absolute banger. Perfect gelling of their two styles and Mone worked her arse off bumping and selling. Great performance.
Ospreay vs Fletcher was a good one as well. I had no idea Fletcher was such a big unit when he had his blonde surfer locks. Somehow, him shaving his head has accentuated the fact that he's an absolute brick shithouse.

And yes compared to other shows it was a bit flat. Although I also liked Lashley vs Swerve, made Lashley look very strong

Mone needed that. Her run in AEW so far has been a bust imo. The booking of Kamille has been terrible as well. They have a major job on their hands if they are to rehab her.
Caught up on the Survivor Series/War Games highlights this morning. Looked like a very mid and missable show.
The best part was when Gunther (i.e., a heel) realised that Balor had interfered to help him win his match, and then promptly decked him. Love him.

The New Day 10 year anniversary, mixed feelings on this.
They're running a break up angle and I think the concept of the New Day breaking up hurts my soul. If they do I'm sure it'd be a great story but I've always liked how wholesome they are as a team, even when Kofi was his champ.
I guess I kind of hope Woods gets a moment in the Sun. Unsure what would be best for him, Woods as heel feels like a short term solution, while Kofi as heel gives Woods that longer arc of chasing that win.
A part of me is also just hoping E is going to be back and fit and they make tag stuff relevant again for the WWE

Yeah totally. From that one segment alone I am already super keen to see Big E come back and beat their asses.
It's why I am already pretty confident he must be cleared to make a comeback. For them to book him in a segment teasing a feud between them (which involved Woods explicitly baiting him about how he'll never wrestle again) and then not deliver on it would be a massive **** you to the fans lol.
