Pakistan 107/1 after 23... they will need a massive score... I don't really see it happening... a couple wickets and they'll collapse. West Indies should win this one with Lara in the form he is in, and Kaneria can't bowl.
Kaneria can now bowl though.

I can't believe Courtney Browne still manages to get picked. I'm already conceding a century to Inzamam. They may not be ready yet but surely they can't do much worse than Browne. My word! It's simply mind blowing. Unbelievable.

Way to go browne

mmm and I love those brownies.
Turtle! Turtle, turtle, turrrrrrrrrtle!

Amazing comeback by Pakistan, it gives me great joy to read such good things. Collymore is repaying the faith I, and more importantly, his team and selectors have put in him. A 10-for already! Awesome. He stands tall where others fall.
Well bowled by Afridi and Ahmed, and Razzaq in part for getting the openers. Is Ahmed chucking? I really, REALLY hope he`s not, after this test, he`ll have an awesome test bowling record.

I like bowlers who have a good economy rate to go along with a decent SR. Generally it means that they keep a good line-and-length, and bowl more consistently. That`s the way it should be. :)

Keep it up Pakistan, you may draw this series yet.

Pakistan can't afford to lose any wickets today... and with Afridi on strike now, it's very likely they will.
Eat your humble pie, you doubter of Afridi you. :p

And Browne dropped a hat-trick ball? CricInfo didn`t mention it I don`t think, can someone please explain it in detail? Cheers. :)

From what I`ve seen of him (vs WI) in some spells, he does indeed seem to have a kink in his action. This of course may be an optical illusion, but I do see something that I don`t see with other bowlers. :)

to be honest yesterday his action didnt seem as bad when he was coming around the wicket...sometimes though when he is bowling, you might as well be watching a baseball pitcher

Be fair man. A bend of 150 degrees is pretty much 15 anyway. Just take off a 0. :D

Interesting match this. With two days left, one would think that there will be a result one way or another, especially if Pakistan are serious about squaring the series. If Pakistan bat at a good rate (which shouldn't be hard given no.'s 5, 6, 7 & 8) for two sessions, they could conceivably send WI in after Tea with a lead of 450.

It's difficult for me to imagine WI batting for four sessions without trying to win, so I'm fairly confident that we will see a result. Pakistan slight favourites at this stage, though Collymore (and hopefully another bowler as well..) could change that. Lara can chase just about anything, although he doesn't score two fifties in a game very often.

53.2 Powell to Shahid Afridi, SIX, Bang! short ball and its pulled away
over the midwicket for huge six

Didn't take long.

Afridi is back and this time he isn't sticking. A lead of 400 is what Pakistan is looking for. This is shaping up to be a lot like the Banglore test. (that is if Pakistan can preserve wickets through the first session and go to lunch with around 4-5 wickets in hand)

Is it also coincidence that it's happened without Akhtar in the side?
This team is doing well not INSPITE OF Akhtar's absence but BECAUSE OF it.

The sooner the Pakistani establishment understands this the faster this team will lose its tag of inconsistency.

How is Pakistan doing well because Shoaib's gone? A tied test series in India, won a batsmen dominated ODI series, cleansweeped the weak West Indies and now they will be lucky if they manage to tie this test series. They need Shoaib on their test side.
