That`s hardly ended up anywhere!

Rana seems to be bowling badly in Tests, Sami`s average is still outrageous, Kaneria isn`t doing anything against the Windies, Ahmed`s action has been reported.
but they didn't get slaughtered in india, which is what my post was responding to. Not what happens before or after..

Oh dear, methinks a lot of runs may be coming now, with him out, Rana unfit and Lara in such form.

Ouch, tough break for Pakistan, wonder how they'll fare if they don't get wickets with the new ball. Was it Shep who gave him the final warning?

That's Lara's seventeenth 150...

In fact, only Bradman (eighteen) has more 150s.

Two wickets to put Pakistan back in the game, shouldn't be too hard to get through the tail if they pick up another wicket. Disappointing that WI failed to capitalise given that Pakistan only have one specialist bowler left, will still be difficult for Pakistan to win this match though.

King is no longer the bowler he was 5 years ago, he has lost everything, he should be in the WI team, bringing in Baugh or Ramdin at this stage is sending a boy to do a mans job i know Browne isn't the best but gradually he has improved has the West Indian season has progressed so for now he is the best option.
I agree that Baugh and Ramdin shouldn't be thrown in yet but they should be gradually worked in. Jeff Dujon suggested Baugh for ODIs and Ramdin for Tests. No probs with this. I'm just saying it's necessary that they get into the mix soon. Browne has played in every match since his recall. Where's the grooming there? It makes no sense putting them in mid to late 2006 with the WC coming up. Maybe for the tour of Sri Lanka one of them can be brought along and play at least one or two matches apart form thge practice games. But it's good to hear that there'll be an 'A Team' Tour pretty soon. Haven't seen one of those in a while. Not since at least 2002 or 20003.

that first over by Collymore to Malik was superb, even McGrath would be proud of that over. It makes you wonder why Chanderpaul didn't give him the new ball in the first place.

Pakistan 107/1 after 23... they will need a massive score... I don't really see it happening... a couple wickets and they'll collapse. West Indies should win this one with Lara in the form he is in, and Kaneria can't bowl.

because hes horribly inconsistant, still the west indies best bowler by a long way mind you imo.....edwards has vast potential but needs to sort the action and get more accuracy to be any real threat to a good side.

i reckon he has dropped more catches this season than some keepers have done in their careers

Younis plays against the spin... caught

194/4

Pakistan can't afford to lose any wickets today... and with Afridi on strike now, it's very likely they will.

If you miss a catch as a fielder it is fine by some distance but if you are wearing gloves and being a wicket keeper missing a straight chance is just poor and at that level really you shouldnt be dropping those catches but then again,

What a catch to drop,Pakistans best batsman Inzamam ul haq and he was the one who promised that he would be successfull beating west indies this time around in their back yard,

Way to go browne

mmm and I love those brownies.
