And it's lunch... Pakistan's lead is 277 with only one wicket remaining... I wouldn't count on it getting much bigger with Kaneria in.

Inzy's pretty good at keeping the strike though - Kaneria's only faced one of the last nineteen deliveries. I'm fairly confident WI can manage 300 though.

I Remember Last year Jayasuriya put on a 101 run partnership for the last wicket where the last man only scored 1 run. This was against Pakistan in Pakistan (with Shoaib Aktar).

Let see if Inzy can do something special here !

Well not quite !

WI should win easy from here even without Lara firing ...... Unless .... :D

The target is 280, not easy by any means.

According to CricInfo, the pitch is getting tricky as well.

I'd say it's close to 50/50

Well I am hoping for a good fight to the end ..... it does not matter which side wins. However I think you will agree that WI has the edge at this point !

The problem with Windies is that they hardly ever have more than 2 batsmen make an impression, and that the tail starts at 7. Effectively, they'll need a century from one of Lara, Sarwan and Chanderpaul to reach the target.

I thought the tail started either side of Lara

Ditto .... And I think the Chanders and Lara are playing much better since chanders took over.

On another note: I was watching the game on TV last saturday when the camara panned and focused on to Lennox Lewis (Former Heavywaight Boxing Champ) when the next shot was on Inzy ..... and the comentator said "here's another heavyweight"

The pitch is getting distinctly tasty - some going through the top and exploding, others skidding along and keeping low. I'd back Pakistan from here tbh, but Lara holds the key.
