**Official** Pakistan in Sri Lanka

Looks like its gonna be a big defeat for Pakistan!

I can see Mohd Sami comming back into Pak team in the very next tour.Gul and Rao looked very ordinary in the match, and although Sami is a lowsy bowler, but he's still a better bet as a test bowler than the likes of Rao and Razzak.

Is Jayasuriya injured or are Sri Lanka doing some forward thinking and looking at a new opening combination?

Quite early to judge that... And the Pakistani bowlers have a good opportunity to fight back again.. so anything is possible..

Asif takes 1st wicket...

Right now it seems if we take out Asif, Pakistan cannot even beat Bangladesh...

He is injured.. has a thumb injury, while catching opener Imran Farhat in the gully,,,

and reports also suggest that it might be a disslocation..

SL 61/5.

Point blank Asif is a gun. What he does on sub-continental wickets as a fast bowler is nothing short of amazing.

Only one thing Asif missing as a Pakistan bowler, he can't get himself injured. Great bowling, but really the fatigue nature of our batting is big concern.

I don`t think I`ve posted much in this thread, but to summarise - Asif = amazing, so much improved from his Test in Australia.

Is there anyone better at nipping the ball back in than Asif in world cricket? He does it so frequently, he must have a ridiculously high percentage of bowleds in his short test career so far.

On top of that he can move the ball away as well.

He's going to be lethal in England. If Shoaib is fit for that tour as well Pakistan will have a good chance.
