Sangakkara is unreal, this pitch is not that easy to bat on but the bloke is carving his way through Umar Gul with ease. Samaraweera on the other hand looks like he has dropped anchor.

He is already going after the seamers 18 off 10 balls.

Jayawardene will have a tough job switching his bowlers around to try and contain him , the way he is going after them.

I see, this time Woolmer didn't ask belly dancer Afridi to tamper the pitch, and tried to do it himself.

ICC match refree need to keep a close eye on Pak team members and its management.

Tampering a pitch before start of the match & toss doesn't make any sense.Pakistan could have batted first had they won the toss and as such a purposeful tampering of pitch would have only harmed Pak cause.

Afridi did that on pupose and got the punishment, he's reckless and irresponsible individual, i hardly think Bob is anything like Afridi.

Faisal Iqbal unlucky there with the LBW dismissal, though, to be fair, he should have seen that coming from a mile away. Murali is far too clever a bowler to make the same mistake twice.

Nice bowling from Sri Lanka, but where is Bandara really need to throw him the ball and try and run through the tail. Got to say im disappointed with Malinga form of late, hasn't really looked very threaten.

Murali suddenly coming into his own in Kandy . But IMO the Test is pretty much even ATM . If Pak do not conced a lead it will be all decided by the Team that bats better in the second innings. A lot for pak will depend on Inzi .

Pakistan however have to bat last on this pitch which is taking quite a bit of turn already.

On another note -
Murali and Mahela Jayawardene combination have equalled the record for the most dismissals by a bowler and non-keeping fielder combination in Test Cricket by equalling 51 dismissals when Akmal was dismissed.

This record is currently held by Warne and Mark Taylor combination of Australia on 51 dismissals.

One more catch by Mahela off Murali and they hold the record on their own!!

Playing last on this wkt against Murali would be a nightmare, the only way Pakistan could have avoided a defeat in this test match would have been had they taken a good 70-90 runs lead, but it looks like they will concede a lead.

Looks like SL will win the series 1-0
