First of all there are 32 skysports cameras and not one in this age caught any players tampering.

Pakistani players manager coach all said Pakistan team did not tamper.

Even if Hair felt Pakistan tampered why did he not warn Inzamam-ul-haq.

Hair appointed younis khan mohammad yousuf unfairly run out many times, Murali Mulitaritarin was accused by hair, he is simply too bias with Asian cricket team.

Pakistan as everyone knew was expected to win just look at the scorecard. but England won unfairly.....

Kevin Pieterson was edged and caught by shahid nazir yet hair did not call it.

Hair is an unfair powerful cricket destroyer.

Pakistan before this match were rated 2nd best in cricket after Australia now they are 3rd simply after this test, which they were about to win....

I mean Pakistan won against England last series, India in test series (ODI lost due to numerous vital injuries), West Indies test and ODI series they won and before that they beat South Africa... Asif who took eight wicket last time he played england 5 this time and has a huge record against england and he just entered international cricket..his length, seam, and both swing and pace is what makes his one of the best...along with shoaib akhtar (world fastest bowler), and umar gul (fast tall seam) the most successful pakistani bowler this series...nevertheless allrounder abdul razzaq (useful allrounder) and shahid afridi (master of sixes)....and last but not the least danish Kaneria the master of leg spin who hasn't been very credited for the amazing bowling he has done! Shahid Nazir the youngster who has reserved his spot in the team due to his seam and pace attack...shoiab malik the world third best allrounder was also not playing...Arshad khan and mustaq ahmed the key bowlers in the harsh english conditions...not to forget the unsuccessful but top pace bwoler Mohammad Sami...

Faisal Iqbal the talented youngster who hit a century this series is not to be forgotten along with Salman Butt.

So pakistan start with a injured team in the test cricket so they subsitute bowlers bowling ... brillinat performance by gul and kaneria .... just that he wasn't as rewarded with wickets as much as other bwolers for the job he did .... sami 90 mph ...

When Shoiab, Rana and Asif (main bowlers) return england are getting creamed is that a surpirse not really folks...

2nd test horrible pitch ruins cricket ... 3rd test pakistan heading towards victory when Hair calls younis and yousuf both run out unfairly ....

4rth test pakistan dominating once again what happens hair abandons the match by not coming out because pakistan came out a little late ...

twenty twenty guess what pakistan wins (people may argue its not an actual match .. people all english 1st ODI players were playing except one) ...

1st ODI guess what pakistan is dominating again .. rain washes up the match.... I mean honestly what a disaster to pakistan's cricket triumph ... we already know who's the better team who has the skills and better guns in the team ... we dun need to get confused in all this mess....

He got 8 wickets against england in the last match he played against england before this series ... in the One day is he continued his performance with swing ... seam... length .. bounce everything to play with the batsmen's mind ... to accuse him or any other pakistani bowlr is rubbish during that match ...

Umar Gul was performing wel this entire series at times this test series when pakistanis major bowlers were not playing he was the man to consistantly get the wickets .... no one is to accuse except this Hair fellow ...

Yes the dismissals have been different but there has been times especially yesterday where Asif was nipping the ball back into Pietersen & for the 1st time i saw him look fairly uncomfortable at the crease.

Well again not alot of positives for England, but i'll still believe that even though England are stuggling to put together a decent ODI side in this crucial phase leading up to the world cup, as Hussain was saying on commentary today, once guys like Flintoff & Giles, Harmison & probably Jones come back i think England potential have a side that can do well in the caribbean.

Jones for the wc certainly wouldnt be a good idea because even if he is fit, he would have barely any cricket under his belt and added to his limited list A experience and his poor radar is hardly going to make things better.

With the injured players back England could probably look like this in the windies:

KP hasnt been half as successful at 4 as he was at 5. His average at 5 is 115 odd from 10 games while his average at 4 is 37 odd from 13. Putting him at 3 is pretty much suicide IMO because with Trescothick being hit and miss, more often than not hed be in against the new ball which is not what anyone wants to see.
How in the world anyone can put Collingwood and Strauss down as certainities i'll never understand(Strauss hasnt had a half decent ODI series in over 2 years). While i can somewhat understand the theory 'if it aint broke dont fix it', i dont really know how anyone can suggest that we go in with the same batting card and not try to fix a side that has been on a major losing streak for the last 2 years.

Not the case. All Asif's dismissals of Pietersen have been different. The case is simply that Mohammad Asif is a very, very good bowler, and has had a bit of luck. There's no particular weakness in KP's technique he's exploited - if anything, he's exploiting KP's mental block against his bowling.

i agree, i think that KP needs an attitude test because the fact is that this is not the same KP that we saw in SA 2 years ago. i distinctly remember the KP of old getting set and building his innings steadily before going after the bowling. The current KP doesnt seem to be capable of batting out 3 successive dot balls.

Yea probably he might not be fit enough for the world cup, but i dont see why Jones can't be a good ODI bowler for England, i know is OD record may not be great but during the natwest series last he showed good ability especially as a death bowler.

Well ok his average @ 5 is superb but averaging 37 @ 4 at any position isn't too bad really, plus it makes sense in England ODI team to have him batting at 4 presently.

Joyce and Cook both seem like worthwhile options to partner Tresco up top, and a Bell-Strauss-Pietersen middle-order is as good as it will get for England. Collingwood and Dalrymple can fight it out for #6 with Flintoff coming in next (or Flintoff at 6). Read at 8 followed by 3 quicks - Harmison, Anderson and Broad for me.

Agree with all of this. One thing I might add is that I think while Alastair Cook has done nothing wrong in his ODI appearances so far, Ian Bell has been showing promise at the top of the order for a while now. If it was up to me he'd be opening with Trescothick, and Strauss would be at three - Cook will get his chance soon enough, but I've had a feeling for a while that Bell has a future as an ODI opener.

The suggestion of moving KP back down to number five is also a good one - it's been a while since he had the chance to bat in the late overs, because he keeps having to come in with about 10-15 overs gone. Strauss at four would leave room for Cook at the top and Bell at three, so maybe that's a useful suggestion. However, it would require dropping Collingwood or Flintoff down to seven, and if Collingwood's going to bat seven then I'd be questioning his role in the side, if it wasn't already being questioned anyway. Dalrymple's use as a spinner means that Collingwood's place is under threat when Flintoff's back, IMO.

We definitely seem to lack another agressive-minded opener to go with Tres to capitalise on the first 15 overs. Or at least one who'll stay in longer than Jones or Prior. Mal Loye anyone?
