However, Pakistan are still coasting home.

He's good - probably the outstanding young quick bowler in world cricket. But this is just the same old story for England. The top order yet again doing nothing and their bowling not remotely equipped to make up for them. Granted they're better than the shower we saw against SL, but that's not saying a lot.Fusion said:Pakistan win the match comfortably. I think MOM should goto Asif. His performance was one of the finest you'll see in an ODI.
Crikey man, have a lie down. You're ill.grecian said:Pathetic again.
I may have alluded before to the fact that the dazzler being recalled was a good thing, I would formally like to make an apology, blimey bring back Kabir Ali, all is forgiven.
Yes, I'm using the satire of a bloke that stands near me in the Big Bank, who always screams "bring back Steve Biggins", whenever we're doing badly, him being considered one of the worse players in Citys history.Neil Pickup said:Crikey man, have a lie down. You're ill.
that he has been, from the beginning of his career....brilliant bowler...a healthy akhtar and asif with a decent support cast becomes a formidable proposition for any batting lineup....wpdavid said:He's good - probably the outstanding young quick bowler in world cricket. Ah, City usually drive me to "**** **** ****** ****** ******* ******* **** referee ****** **** ****".grecian said:Yes, I'm using the satire of a bloke that stands near me in the Big Bank, who always screams "bring back Steve Biggins", whenever we're doing badly, him being considered one of the worse players in Citys history.
I actually thought he was a decent performer with a good touch, however I seem to be in a minority of one.
I agree Lewis did bowl extremely well but this was precisely his kind of surface. The prospect of Jon Lewis bowling in the Champions Trophy on flat Indian wickets to the likes of Sehwag and Gilchrist does not bear thinking about. Their will just tee off and smack him here there and everywhere.open365 said:I'm impressed by Clarke who i thought was useless before today, but it's a pretty desperate situation when the bright point of the match is a 39 by the number 7.
Darren Gough looked just as inneffective as he did last year, Broad is promising but had a bad day, Lewis bowled brilliantly and i hope he keeps his place, Mahmood and Plunkett need to be dropped from international cricket for a long long time.
It was horrifically dark, could barely see a thing. So it was not like the decision to carrying on playing was for the crowds sake…ClownSymonds said:Inzamam-ul-Haq played an awesome innings. I couldn't really tell, but everyone says it was terribly dark while he was batting. Yet he defended only 4 balls, and hit 40-odd off 20-odd at a crucial time to win the match.
