Doctrove has clearly cost England this match. They should refuse to play if he is appointed to any of their matches in the future pending a full ICC enquiry.

But i bet he would be smarter not to ask for 500,000 USD compensation from ICC in such a scenario.

Perhaps his action was just to ensure that, that happens!
Or maybe he made a genuine error, that happens as well. He's hardly likely to call random no balls to show he's not biased, it's not as if he could know that a wicket was going to fall when he called it.

What the hell?

I knew bringing Gough back was a mistake, but bringing onions into the squad is even worse.

He has a FC bowling average of 37 and a list A average of 37.

What the hell are they thinking? Chapple is by far the better bowler. In fact, i bet there's a lot more better bowlers than Onions in England.

I don't give a damn that he's only 23, they brought Gough back so why won't they give Chapple a chance?

There should be a thousand amusing anecdotes tripping off the keyboard after such a statement, but it's so pitiful that I can't think of any.

Jesus. Our pile of broken seamers is reaching epic proportions now: Flintoff, Harmison, Jones, Plunkett, Anderson & now Gough too.

Can't recall seeing Onions bowl, so if I have he hasn't made much of an impression. Wherefor Tremlett one wonders?!

Its gotta be something in the water.

Or you need to hire another physio. This is getting ridiculous.

In all fairness, you can't expect a late 30's pace bowler with a history of crockiness to stay fit for six international matches in a row.

Why not Kirtley as the replacement, btw?

Why would the ICC advise him to make an offer and hang him out to dry?
