Which one, "Black Sweat"? Maybe not, but off the new album he'd probably give "Fury" and "Get on the Boat" a spin. :)
I felt your absence and Prince's return was a bit too coincidental for my liking :p I've had my suspicions that you may indeed be the Artist formerly known.

You know you've been on CW too long (or maybe reading a few too many S_L posts) when the first thing you think of when you hear Black Sweat for the first time is Slow_Love (underscore included) ;)

Yep, breaking news on the BBC that the game has been officially awarded to England who win the series 3-0.

Right decision IMO, although i agree with Pakistan, they went about it entirely the wrong way.
Pretty much. And if the umpires had already called the forfeiture it would have been a really messy precedent for the ICC to override the decision.

On a side note, Surrey had sold 15k tickets for tomorrows game apparently, which will now all have to be refunded i guess?

Would Surrey / the ECB have a case of suing the PCB for lost revenue? :D

Precdent or no precedent, so much power in the hands of the umpires is a farce.

Spectators are going to get a 40% refund on today's play. This is obviously an attempted public relations exercise. I'm going to claim a refund on my electricity bill as my TV would not have been on if I had known there would be no cricket.

LOL, I think that basketball is more Prince's game - if you've watched Charlie Murphy's reminiscings on Dave Chapelle you'll know what I mean. :)

(And there's no underscore, dammit!)

What power? if Pakistan had have come out when asked on time there wouldnt have been any power to the umpires to do anything.
If you take that power away from the umpires then whats to stop teams from doing this in the future more often?

An incident like this cannot be snuffed out without an uproar. The players involved are human. By this decision, the ICC has called in question the integrity of the Pakistan cricket board itself. (cricinfo notes that no individual player was accused) If the players/board feels strongly about this, then they should boycott/do whatever is necessary by all means.

I still think that calling off a test match based on the stubbornness of a single individual is beyond ridiculous.
