No, Pakistan ARE a disgrace.

The game is ruled by the umpires, you go by the umpires decision, however bad it may be. In the end, they lost 5 runs, big deal, get over it.

Its the umpires' decision when it concerns the rules, but its the players decision whether to continue playing after being treated like this.

Not really, because when you're accused of cheating, a team has the right to say "well umpire, if that's your final decision, I refuse to take part in this game anymore because you're a stupid ******"

Every team has the right to do that, all they do is forfeit the game.

If they come back out now, does that mean that Ball and Collingwood have the right to walk of the field for a break then come back out 15 minutes later?

Ok, so theya re accused of cheating and their of so precious honour is degraded.

What would be the more appropriate action A)They play and win the game, after it they say that no one in their team cheated and that the umpire got it wrong, the British public seem to believe they never cheated anyway.

Or

B) They throw their dummies away and go sulk in the changing room

C) They refuse to play after the umpire has unfairly labeled them cheaters.

I would prefer option A. However, I wasn't accused of cheating. If I was in their position, I might have also refused to take the field. Good to know that you FINALLY understand this is not about 5 runs. What a miracle.

Where does it say that in the laws of the game???

Don't worry, i still don't think the 'accused of cheating' is a valid argument.

A team can forfeit a game anytime they like. They just read the law on Sky Sports! All that happens is you forfeit the game and the opposition win. There's no law saying "You must play whatever happens" is there?
