What I don't understand is how Yousaf is made captain in the first place when he clearly has zero skills in man-management and tactics. I assume he was made captain by default, most experienced and best player = best choice for captain. Poor move.

Who are the other options? Any smart cricketing brains in Pakistan cricket? I have zero knowledge of Pakistan domestic cricket, but surely some captaincy talent must be about. Will we ever see Hasan Raza at international level again? Seems pretty switched on, think he has lead the A-team on a number of occasions, captained his team into the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy final yes?

Well played Salman Butt for getting a century, I guess it does to an extent make up for running out his captain and Umar Akmal. And now Katich gets him out.

That was such nice bowling from Hauritz, floated and drifted away from the batsman. Just five overs ago it looked like Australia were bowling away until the new ball was ready, now the spinners are leading the attack.

I must say,it's really poor stuff from from the captain.
A captain throwing tantrums against his player openly is not on.

What kind of a captain is moyo?

I'd actually be interested to see how Katich compares to other Chinaman bowlers. Don't think it's too much of a stretch to say that he must be one of the most successful of all time.

Yousuf defending his team's show

moyo had defended his team's show in this series stating that pak had done even
more miserably during their past 3-4 tours and that under him,pak came close to
winning a test match in Sydney.


Someone pls remind him that pak was on course to winning the Hobart test match
during the 1999 test series.If not for Gilchrist's and Langer's exploits,pak would have
won that test match.
