If D. Hussey had rightfully replaced Martyn during the last home Ashes we wouldn't be having this northern conundrum.

How did Clarke survive that review? It was practically identical to the one that dismissed Roach at Perth....

These umpires are only interested in backing each other up. They're so reluctant to overturn the decisions of the standing umpire, and as a result, their decisions lack consistency.

I think its imperitve more then ever that Pakistan gives the basic fundamentals of the game more importance then they have ever done in the past.

There is a severe talent drought in batting we have not produced one good batsman since Younis khan came on the scene and that is some 10 years back. In the past we had genuine match winners in the side who thrived on individual brilliance so basics of the game such as fielding and running between the wickets were neglected, we could get away with poor fielding since most of former great Pakistani fast bowlers were known to create unassisted dismissals a trend which seems to be coming down now due to flatter tracks and a better batting technique against reverse swing.

Lets hope for Pakistan sake our sports adminstrators wake up fast before we even fall behind Bangladesh and Ireland.

Over the years, there have been so many pak batsmen who arrived at the scene but faded
away in no time.Batsmen like Taufeeq Umar,Yasir Hameed and many more.

From the current pak squad,if you remove Mohammed Yousuf and Younus Khan, then pak team will be on par with Bangladesh.Pak team needs to search for talent from now onwards if they are to become a major force in World cricket. They need to search for batsmen like Ganguly who is God on the off side, hits soaring sixes, has a fabulous timing.
