What's Ponting doing!?

Only one wide-slip for Kaspa, and one goes through right where 1st slip would have been, then he puts about 8 fielders around the bat for Warne.

i hope Australia get the required small target in less than 10 oves to further humiliate brainless pakistani think tank ( bob, Inzi and youhanna)

I think a champion player like Akhter should be playing for another better team. Frankly he has been led down badly by his team mates .

This is what i have been saying from the beginning .Farhat is useless and should be thrown out, Umer was always the better choice.even someone like afridi wouldn't have fared worse than Farhat and would have been useful as a bowler (especially when pak is playing with just 3 bowlers)

first up, its Akhtar and Razzaq. and what other team would Akhtar play for???? Kaneria bowled well.

It was a bad decision, but I wasn't nearly as confident as you were that it wasn't out straight away. I was a lot more confident that Martyn's LBW was too high.

That had less to do with the captaincy and more to do with good bowling. If we had a decent captain we'd have them 6 down, if not more.

Agreed that Gilly is a better captain (and less whiny about pitches) but he's just got too much on his plate already. It's much easier for Ponting to captain a side (not as well but still competently) without leather thudding into his extremities up to 500 times a day.

I think we should congratulate the PCB for adopting that attitude even though it is likely to harm their team's efforts when already a bowler down.
