This tail against bounce is ghastly.
Most tails are tbh. There's a reason they always bowl like this to the tail. Usually - not always, but usually - they just chip it in the air and even if they don't they don't score any runs anyway.

This is what I mean with Hazlewood. If you know it's going to be there then it just sort of sits up nicely compared to Cummins' bouncers.

It's pretty inexplicable for someone so tall with such a high delivery. McGrath bowled about this pace, slower at times, yet always got it to lift threateningly. Haze just doesn't seem to have the pace off the surface.

This is dreadful. I got it earlier but it's gone on for a bit long and just not Hazlewood's go. Wood at Headingley levels.

I always thought jamal was just a daniel sams esque t20 bits and pieces player but he's been really impressive this series. Few handy knocks with the tail and taken wickets at a decent average.

The way this pitch has behaved, with balls keeping low on the first day, it could have been real tricky for us batting last if Pakistan had scored about 350 and taken the game deep into day 4. Sadly several of the batsmen abrogated their duties, leaving them well short.
