Which raises a big question as to who replaces him. Muthusamy was in the squad for the Sri Lanka series, and even though he hasn't really done anything wrong in his test career, is he really the next best option? Piedt is another possibility, or maybe a recall for Linde since he seems to be back in the mix for T20s at least?
For centurion they will probably go no spinner and play maphaka.
For Cape town it will be interesting. They will probably go to muthasamy as he is the guy in possession. Unless Cape town produces another pitch like vs India.

This is the team that played Kamran Khatmal as the wicket keeper for close to a decade.

You know very well how they drop sitters.
It was the first catch Rauf has dropped. Was easier than a sitter.

Also, not to be an #intent memer but can we get like 50 runs in the power play

Baartman has been so impressive at international level..one has to wonder why he didn't play sooner for the Proteas.
It's not that easy to get into the South African bowling attack. We keep producing so many good fast bowlers that there isn't room for everyone and some bowlers will have the good fortune of there being an opening at the right time for them, while others (like Baartman) end up having to wait a bit longer for their opportunity.

That got unnecessarily close after that big partnership between Agha and Ayub. Shaheen is flat out worse than Naseem as a better. Should give up delusions of being an AR. Breakout innings for Agha. 🙇🙇 Superbly calm despite the idiocy around him. I wasn't sure if he's a good enough fifth bowler but he's put those worries to rest for now. Ayub's comfort against the short ball is unprecedented for a Pak batter.

What happened to Stuurman? How'd he end up sneaking a test?

Honestly that was a damn entertaining ODI. Made me feel a little nostaligic because it felt like it was out of 2006! SA lost the game with that mini collapse upfront. Well done Pakistan.

Markram effectively hid Phelukwayo in this game. He batted behind Jansen and only got the three overs. Maharaj was dearly missed considering Markram got away with 10 overs for 40 odd.
