Yeah my mistake. Guess we had no other option then with no other spinner in the squad.Isn't Shamsi in the team? I'm not watching at the moment, but that's what Cricinfo says.

For centurion they will probably go no spinner and play maphaka.Which raises a big question as to who replaces him. Muthusamy was in the squad for the Sri Lanka series, and even though he hasn't really done anything wrong in his test career, is he really the next best option? Piedt is another possibility, or maybe a recall for Linde since he seems to be back in the mix for T20s at least?
This is the team that played Kamran Khatmal as the wicket keeper for close to a decade. How the **** did that get dropped
It was the first catch Rauf has dropped. Was easier than a sitter. This is the team that played Kamran Khatmal as the wicket keeper for close to a decade.
You know very well how they drop sitters.
It's not that easy to get into the South African bowling attack. We keep producing so many good fast bowlers that there isn't room for everyone and some bowlers will have the good fortune of there being an opening at the right time for them, while others (like Baartman) end up having to wait a bit longer for their opportunity.Baartman has been so impressive at international level..one has to wonder why he didn't play sooner for the Proteas.
Linde should play or simmonds if we going similar to Maharaj I don't rate munsamy as number 1 spinner to play off and other 2 better batting form also.Seems its a groin strain. Highly doudt he makes it back with that injury.
Maharaj's groin strain leaves South Africa sweating ahead of Pakistan Tests
Maharaj was set to be in the XI for the first ODI against Pakistan but limped off just before the tosswww.espncricinfo.com
Moved Provinces alot also injured alot I remember when the Boland guy was ahead of him before he faded forgot his name he was at warriors I think. It's not that easy to get into the South African bowling attack. What happened to Stuurman? How'd he end up sneaking a test? It's not that easy to get into the South African bowling attack.
