In Temba's case it is certainly understandable. It's a miracle he can stand up straight with that mammoth badonkadonk. Lugging it around for entire test matches must be very taxing on his spine.

Could've thrown us a test in Gqeberha or Durban. With the current itinerary I think there's a realistic chance of Ghulam or Shakeel getting decapitated in the tests.

Which raises a big question as to who replaces him. Muthusamy was in the squad for the Sri Lanka series, and even though he hasn't really done anything wrong in his test career, is he really the next best option? Piedt is another possibility, or maybe a recall for Linde since he seems to be back in the mix for T20s at least?
