He has not been in great form in tests too. Has generally struggled to bat lately.

Really good start to his test career, but you can its diminishing returns then.
I know he got a century v England but that has an Asterix beside it because that was the one where England got about 900 runs batting first.
Not quite sure that Babar deserved a recall though.
I'd say first is Rabada, Jansen, Nortjie, Mulder, Maharaj assuming they all available aka nortjie isn't for tests atm 2nd would be Ngidi, Nandre, Paterson, Bosch, should be Linde,

Agreed. And that's a great array of pacers. Maphaka might be in contention in an year or so too. SA pace bowling is in good hands.
Yeah I forgot coetzee he'd be first pick in 2nd team or last in 1st team if we choose no spinner.
Sipimandla , beyers Swanepoel, baartman, corbans brother, darren dupavillion there's even more
batting is bare though.

He's been terrible with the red ball lately. Was the slowest bowler in the last few tests he played. Think they should've played Mir Hamza over Naseem though.
