Corbin is the son of Tertius, but I didn't realise the odd circumstances in which Tertius died.
I dug and terius died not believing eathan is his son but know where do I see test results shown or tests done and they all say his son on air. Apparently Durban had too many unsolved crimes and corruption to sort this case .

Shukri is good at identifying qualities in a player that he wants in his side. The Stubbs call, the Paterson backing, getting Dane Piedt back in the mix etc etc. He has made some calls we didn't agree with but you can see the logic now.

Absolutely.

I remember when he was with WP & he backed 3 quality young players in Levi, van Zyl and Canning. Levi was 16 & wasn't afraid to play him. He has always seemed to have this ability. He was at the Lions before that with Neil McKenzie etc and did well at a union that dropped off from the great years of the mean-machine.

I also like the fact he knows all about the pathways having worked with SA U19s.

Brief history I know about his playing career and cricket connections. He may have played a couple games for WP and or Transvaal when players of colour were allowed back. But his father Sadick was also one of the original non-white players picked to play with rebel SA sides against a touring English team.

Pakistan's batting was no surprise to me. But I don't know why we drop decent Test players like Abdullah Shafique, for his recent form in Limited overs matches. This has never worked well for us, and we should probably have gotten the memo, I dunno a couple decades ago, that formats are distinct.

Missed our batting today but we've bowled well aside from Naseem who looks uninspiring on a deck doing so much.

Good ball just as I type that
