I dont think Justin Hodges played to badly , defensively he was put under alot of pressure & he came up allright at the end of the day , I just dont think he should be playing on the wing at that level , centre is his position.
I was suprised by how well Billy Slater played aswell , you need players to lift their games at origin level & he did just that , he'll never be a rock in defense , but he was unsualy solid on Wednsday & he was uncharacteristically safe under the high ball , should be retained IMO.

As for Schifoske , it aint gonna happen , on last year's form Id have him in there staight away , but this year he just hasnt been up to it , he's been inconsistent at fullback & his goalkicking has been awful.

Other that the high ball incident with Wing Hornby was pretty solid , but I still dont reckon he should have been there in the first place.
Hodgson has been in good form , he's another goal kicking option & he's done well at origin level in the past.

go Warriors. I feel if our fowards can play like they did against the Rabbitohs we're a chance. They will have to step up though, I mean the Rabbits aren't exactly looking like becoming Premiers any time soon. But don't write us off, just yet.

also damit Blewy, the Tigers had better beat the Eels or I'll hold you personally responsible. I picked them this week, and they had better repay the faith...or else

As if you need any more goal kicking options!

So far I have 4/4 for the weekend. Roosters look like they'll make it 5/5.

Wonder if the odds are still good to get the Warriors for the wooden spoon?

well, if the word on the street is true, Daneil Anderson has resigned from the club, the Warriors Club that is. I'm expecting things to become official, later today or tomorrow. Whether this is a good or bad thing, I don't know, hopefully, by god hopefully, it will be a good thing.

Roosters over Bulldogs

Storm over Tigers; sorry Blewy. The Tigers have been in good form, but I just feel that the Storm are in even better touch ATM

Knights over Eels; The Eels are nearly as bad as the Warriors

Dragons over Cowboys;

Raiders over Warriors; Warriors... lol.. damit, but I must admit, I'm tempted to pick the Warriors. It's a fact that the Raiders haven't been that impressive in recent weeks, except for that win last week, over a team which isn't much better than the one I'm supporting. But dam

Panthers over Sea Eagles

Broncos over Sharks

Stop it Age, your getting me too excited.

Seriously, Peters has been a complete flop at Souths, and if we could get a decent playmaker feeding the ball out to the MacDougall brothers...

We can rid ourselves of that goddamn spoon.

Dear Pontiff,

I understand you have been keen to give Australia a saint. I also understand that it is required that two miracles are performed for a sainthood to be granted.

If this is the case, I suggest that you need not waste your time with Mary MacKillop. Australia’s first saint is Arthur Kitinas.

There is no other plausible explanation for the form reversal of the disgraceful team that lost 38-4 to Penrith and played like a bunch of Under 11 netballers to what has happened in the last two weeks.

I realize the fact that Saint Arthur is still alive is somewhat against the rules, but why delay the inevitable? The evidence is clear – Arthur Kitinas is your man.

Yours Sincerely,

Ben Rickards

In six weeks, the players will be sick of this coach too. After the honeymoon is over and they actually have to train.

Six weeks?

We've got the Steelers, oops, sorry, the Dragons next week. The team that beat the Tigers 50-0 today.

Good thing he only need two miracles. I think it's back to earth with a thud next weekend.

good to see your being realistic!

ryles, barrett, timmins, cooper and gasnier are all in origin contention and will be looking for blinders, 50+ is another good bet for the dragons!

Blewy

Mate the way the dragons played today, if they are half as good as that next week souths will be in for a cricket score...

The dragons today showed why if they can keep their full squad on the field they can be a genuine premiership threat...

Definatley showed my boys today we are a bit off the top 4 pace...
