I'm surprised that Lockyer made such a public call, in such an unequivocal manner. Is he fishing for a union contract?

Lockyer won't go to union. He has said he wants to play representitive rugby league until after the 2008 world cup. I'd say he'd still play for Qld one more year after that then finish with the Broncos 2010.

Gasnier will play 5/8 for NSW if theres no other options and he hasnt signed for Union by then, not sure how he will go at that level though...

according to the Fox Sports website Braith Anasta is pretty much a certainty, lol NSW are shotting themselves in the foot this series, i genuinely think we can win it this year...

Dunno about that one, but it'd make sense. There's a huge financial gap between Superleague and National League 1. Wigan couldn't afford to keep all of Richards, Fletcher, Paleaaesina, Higham, O'Loughlin et al, so it's likely.

O'Loughlin can come to the Titans then.

I don't think Anasta deserves the position on reputation or form. Seeing as there are no automatic selections, they should pick the best form five-eighth if they want to go with a specialist. Off the top of my head, I would be picking Dykes ahead of Anasta at the moment.
