i think we'll get an indication as to who will play there as early as tomorrow night when the city v country teams are announced...
Just thought i put down some potential City/Country team. Orford probably wont make it and Wing will come onto the bench and Gower at halfback. The Country havles are quite open Finch is probably a good shot to get infront of Kurt Gildley. The other option is Hornby and Roberts or Stewart (if fit) at fullback. Mini in for Hodgson if fit also.

Code:
	City Country
1	B Hodgson	B Hornby
2	L Rooney	A Roberts
3	M Gasiner	M King
4	L Lewis M Cooper
5	E Grothe	T Tahu
6	B Anasta	J Morris
7	M Orford	K Gildley
8	J Clinton	W Mason
9	R Farrah	D Buderus
10	M O'Meley	B Kite
11	L O'Donnell	N Hindmarsh
12	S Menzies	S Simpson
13	J Sutton	C Fitzgibbon
14	J King A Ryan
15	A Watmough	D Young
16	T Waterhouse	B Creagh
17	C Gower G Morrison
EDIT: Typo Gasiner should be City, so Deleany is out of City and King goes the centres and Amos Roberts on the wing for Country

The Question marks i have are over Rooney/Lewis and the fitness of Matt King.. A possible bolter for the City team could be Dean Collis, Tim Sheens is the coach and has very BIG raps on him.. From reports Minni wont be there, also i would not be surprised if guys like Buderus & Kennedy are rested...

i thought tounge was a QLDers, he would make the side infront of Ryan probably. I can't see Thompson making it, they have a pretty strong forward pack.

naa tounge is from tamworth, Thompson has been on fire this season (by raiders standards), he deserves a chance, the last 2 or 3 seasons from him have been impressive, im not sure someone like Ben Creagh has done enough to make the side at this stage...

NSw must have some worries in the outside backs depth wise if Phil Bailey, Colin Best and Anthony Quinn are picked...

Watmough, but his form hasn't been great, also Southern is playing Queensland Cup and can't make the NQ 17. I would go for Morris on the bench and Tongue in the starting XIII

It has more to do with that fact that four outside backs made the Australian Team...
