Waqar Younis minutes before play 'Babar can bat as long as he wants here'..... He must've wanted to stay in the sheds all day then.

Marnus now will most likely go back to back as World Number 1.

Re slips, I guess we just haven't found our replacement for Taylor at first slip yet. Usually it's a top order batsman and most of ours are good fielders but seem better suited to the gully/point region. Mitchell made sense, though the drops piling up might mean it's time for a change. Captain Southee should probably just do it when the spinner is operating.

Time for Wagnerball, spin isn't doing it. Though at least Pakistan haven't got away in terms of scoring rate.
