Right, just to prove it's not really offensive...look at the flag...it's the Indian Flag...since when has India the country had anything to do with being beaten by Namibia, Canada and Holland? There is no confusion what is ment, that is why there is no problem with the mods.
It doesn't matter whether India had lost to those teams or not, the bottom line is that all that shouldn't be written on the Indian flag!

I'm amazed at how little is actually being posted about the ODI series & how the 'Terrace Element' are so conspicuous by their absence!!!!

ok so I've seen the highlights.....

the fielding is looking as good as anything the Aussies are doing at the moment, with great committment being shown by the likes of Vettori, Tuffey & Oram. They are not only saving runs, but also creating wickets by putting pressure on the batsmen to make improvised shots off good deliveries to score runs. Consequently even mediocre deliveries are taking wickets. I am probably more impressed by how quickly this aspect to their game has come together, than the performances with the ball!!! Another fine example with a great run out from Sinclair.

Astle is starting to look beligerant when he walks onto the pitch, and Fleming must be feeling better with some runs at the Top of the innings. Sinclair stabilised to finish it off, but McMillan is a major worry especially with no middle order specialist cover in the WC 15!!!!

Adams bowled reasonably well for his 5 wickets and his pace is deceptive. It is interesting to note that the fastest deliveries have actually been recorded by Indian bowlers since Bond has been out.

With 3 ODIs remaining I am hoping to see a full strength Black Caps on the pitch b4 the end of the series, and expect a win of the toss to see the Kiwis bat first for the remainder of the series.

Funny isn't it!

yes it's all gone quiet over there,
Oh it's all gone quiet,
all gone quiet,
it's all gone quiet over there!"

What am I supposed to do? The team is India...therefor it's the Indian Flag...makes sense really doesn't it? It was no offensive as what was written on the flag was about Cricket, showing how poor the team is. If I had ment it to be offensive I could have written a lot worse. I just seems you have a problem for the sake of it. Although I have changed my Arvatar because James asked me to as you just kicked a stink up on a harmless joke. I'm sure even Marc will side with me on this one.

Atlast, Sachin will be back for the 5th one day, looks like. I just hope he gets into some sort of form going into the WC. For all the talk of the team not depending on Sachin anymore, India looks half the team without him.

I thought Ganguly had developed a decent technique to away swingers and bouncers over the last couple of tours. The term I used was "I think he has turned the corner". Well, it looks like he has turned another couple of corners and is right back where he started.

The pitches will be much truer in SA plus the atmospheric conditions will not be so contusive to swing as here, so the batting should fare better over there, but they will carry the memories of this massacre with them and that can't be good for the team's confidence in the WC. Now that the pressure is off, I just hope they can get in one or two wins under their belt before travelling to SA.

Same words on the Indian Cricket Board logo. :D
Okay, you got that right.
The Indian Cricket Board's logo is the right place to write such stuff. I won't mind that at all.

Infact, I'll be waiting to see the next big innovative piece of graphic by Rik soon and this time at the right place.

He'll still be a thrill with the bat.
Being an all-rounder he will not enjoy the pressure on his batting as he is used to knowing that if he gets out cheaply then he can make up for it with the ball, although I doubt he will play, they will want him totally fit for the 7th Match. They are just putting him in the squad to make him feel part of the team again in my opinion.
