Did it ever occur to you that since Zaheer's lack of pace compared to Bond ment that he was less impressive means that in fact, because Bond is faster, he is better than Zaheer as he used the conditions better?

No I compared them as they were playing in the same match, they have both played a similer number of games and also that they were the 2 main bowlers in the 2 teams.

Thst's funny.Zaheer has played more than thrice the test matches Bond has played!!! Besides, Nagamootoo would be Wi's main spinner in a match against Aus.We can expect a thread from RIK on the comparison b/w Warne and Naga then

AS for the 2 batting lineup.Keep in mind that NZ was playing on their own back yard.On such surface, they had a better batting lineup than India's(particulary when India has 2 makeshift openers).

They are the first choice openers so you can't claim they're makeshift!

Makeshift is England's opening bowling pairing in the 2nd VB game - Anderson was playing his 6th ever Class A limited over game, of which I believe only 2 were for a first class county. Now that's makeshift.

Sehwag is a middle order batsman, he is being made to open whatever the reasons, weather its because there is defficiency of good openers in India or so.Bangar too was originally selected 2 play as an allrounder, but ended up being opening the test team

I said that Bond is a ripper and a genuine speedster, i NEVER gave an impresson that he was an inferior bowler to Khan.

Infact in another thread i had stated that Bond would pose the most danger to the Indian batsmen!

I think i will use the signature saying that "Bond is better than Khan", perhaps then he will understand that i'm/was always regarding Bond as a better pacer.
