Did Katich really say that? If he did, I like him even less (which I didn't really think was possible!)

I was actually just finding him tolerable, but there is no way in hell a professional sportsman can justifiably respond like that in any situation.
Try and lip read.

Posts: 133 Well I can't disagree with that, if he had the opportunity to use the third umpire, it was wrong that he didn't use it.

50 for Hayden, that decision from Bowden costing New Zealand.
I didn't write that and if you are going to quote people try using these things: ""

Posts: 458 I don't blame him for not walking as I wouldn't if I was playing for my country. Bowden talks himself up as being a great umpire and could have used the 3rd umpire and didn't. A shocking decision that could be the difference. Thanks Billy, ya queer ****!
I admit, I got that one wrong about being able to go upstairs and have already apologised. Things are said in the heat of battle. Billy was a queer **** last night though.

Katich didn't seem to get on too well with the crowd, which is a bit strange really because you could clearly see McGrath was having a good time with the crowd where he was fielding, he was laughing and talking to them. He seemed to be enjoying the Brett Lee chant

Possibly down to experience - McGrath's obviously used to opposition crowds trying to get under his skin and he was obviously trying to get on well with them, which was good to see. Katich seemed a little more tense and failed to get on with the crowd to the same extent.

Umpires just like players have bad games. The only clear cut decision he missed was the caught behind off the glove from Hayden.

I do have a theory on Billy Bowden but it is a little far fetched so I won't share it with people until I can see some more evidence of it

If it's anything about licking Aussie bums (e.g the Steve Waugh hug) to further his career then it's fairly similar to my theory

John Bracewell has said today that the Aussie's were just imagining that there was any crowd trouble last night.

Try reading what I write Fiery.
Jeez are still going on about that?
I did and the part I'm referring to didn't have quotation marks around it which is why I thought you wrote it yourself. The rests of your quotes did:

Lets look at what the kiwi fans had to say.

Fiery "That was so plumb it's not funny! Embarrasing display by Bowden so far today."

"Now he wides him when it hit Ponting's pad! It would have bowled him if it didn't hit his pad. Billy is a national disgrace."

Fiery again "I think the wide was called out of spite. Hope they drop Bowden for the rest of the series."

"Foot in the air. Another bad call"

"That LB was out too. Our old mate Billy again"

that decision from Bowden costing New Zealand.

Blackcapfan "What's up with billy today? Sleeping with his eyes open?"

Oh let me guess these comments are in the interset of improving the umpiring its only a problem if its an Australian fan who complains.

I'd rather have two Marshalls and drop sinclair from this current one-day side. James is very very similar to Hamish (not only in looks). Nudges at close to a run a ball and runs quickly between wickets. When will the selectors learn that Sinclair is NOT a oneday cricketer?
