Spoken through Queensland eyes i dare say? lol... The day hopes plays for Asutralia in a ODI will be a sad day for Australian Cricket... Katich has saved Australia on more than a couple of occasions, lets not be too hasty in giving him the flick...

I agree. Has shown he's a good bat in tests and has played 9 innings for you guys and has played reasonably well in some of them. Strike rate up near 80. Maybe you should give him a chance. Funny to hear an Australian complain about Golden Boy Clarke too.

Does anyone think Marshall will get a Test berth?

I think he deserves it.

Maybe, he has shown some ability at that level already (although admittedly in only two innings, 40* vs SA and 69 against Bangladesh).

Certainly is a very good ODI batsman, averaging around 40 and he has played over 30 games now.

They weren't throwing bottles really, just bottle tops. Was no real chance of causing any harm to McGrath so it was quite funny really.

I still don't see how it's funny to throw things at the players.

What if they get injured - is that funny?

hopes brings decent late-order batting and another solid bowling option to the teams. I reckon Hopes will get a run this series, just a matter of whether it'll be before the series is decided or after.

Thats not the point though, just because you pay $40 to get into the ground, it doesnt give you the automatic right to terrorise the players on the boundary.... knuckleheads if you ask me
