Pardon me, I got that wrong - Chapman not picked for England ODIs. Henry 'I like Gary and Gary likes me' Nicholls in, instead. Sigh.NZ WC squad named in a week. Neither Chapman nor Neesham are going to Bangladesh due to impending fatherhood.

Had to give them opportunities to adjust to the conditions, they did and gunned it in the last two matches.Funny how things can be looking like diatribe one moment and yet so good just a matter of days later.
That is grim. I am absolutely sick to my eyeballs of Gary Stead, and the goons who extended his contract.Pardon me, I got that wrong - Chapman not picked for England ODIs. Henry 'I like Gary and Gary likes me' Nicholls in, instead. Sigh.
Yep. I can't believe they were the same side. Dropping Lockie helped, mind you.Funny how things can be looking like diatribe one moment and yet so good just a matter of days later.
Told ya … even though we needed two runs.Meaningless series and our first game together for months ... we'll be better for the run.
Agreed. We're short of finishers for the World Cup, and Chapman is that plus a better batsman right now, and has a bigger future. But yeah nah Nicholls, sweet as.That is grim. I am absolutely sick to my eyeballs of Gary Stead, and the goons who extended his contract.
Rough timing for him. This was the perfect time to really push a WC spot.Chapman is unavailable for both the England and Bangladesh ODIs due to his child being born.
Not sure this is true for England?Chapman is unavailable for both the England and Bangladesh ODIs due to his child being born.

Latham will bat #5 IMO. Kane-Mitchell-Latham-Phillips.Chapman should play at 5 over Nicholls in the WC imo.
Agreed. And Chapman-Young-Nicholls should really be the order of preference here, though given Young is someone who bats no lower than 4 he is pretty much guaranteed to miss out with KW back and the other spots locked.Latham will bat #5 IMO. Kane-Mitchell-Latham-Phillips.
Agree that Chapman would be a better backup squad batsman than Nicholls though.
For me, the biggest question after these T20's is Rashid. The wicket may have changed slightly under the lights last night and become easier to bat on, but he was comprehensively out bowled by Rehan.Questions over England's bowling.
It was somewhat annoying to let slip a 2-0 lead in a totally unimportant T20 Series, can only imagine what it must feel like to do that in a high profile Test one.Another drawn home series, no wonder Bazball has transformed England into the undisputed No. 1 cricket team.
Made me laugh imagining that it would tbh.Not a series that will live long in the memory
Valid point, I'm wondering what would've been required for that to happen......probably something non-cricket related.Made me laugh imagining that it would tbh.
Hahahaha. Yep. My reaction too. Literally no T20I series ever will go down in history.Made me laugh imagining that it would tbh.
