He's a number eight more often than not in this line-up. He won't bat often and his runs are a bonus.

Doesn't have a solid game plan, technique against the in-swinging ball isn't tight. I think around 40% of his dismissals in T20Is are bowled or lbw, which is really high.

Yeah, I was thinking about a bigger picture than just these games. And especially not just today when he came in with 3 overs to go. As I said to GIMH, admittedly that wasn't obvious from my original post. He's a genuinely talented batter, but his returns seem to have been diminishing for some while now.
