Salt played in the final. Got out early. Looked good in the Hundred but Jacks surely has a higher ceiling. Not sure how Smeed has done recently but is also in the mix.
Was that the only game he played? If so, I'm being harsh to write him off based on one innings.

Norwood's on Fire
Salt came into The Hundred very well, reckon if the squad for this series was announced a bit later he’d have been in.

What an incredible over and a great spell from Ish who produces 2/21 just as everyone else around him was getting destroyed.

Ish is a natural treasure. Thought Rachin bowled pretty well in his one over as well, good control. Santner very average.

May I point out that both batters have a highest score in these games of 103 (albeit 103* for Malan)?

And there goes Malan. I'm not sure he's pushed his case for starting in a WC where we can expect to see a fair bit of spin.

Fairly poor this other than YJB
Yeah, we've lost our way in this innings really. Bairstow several classes above the rest.
Since you typed that, the word 'fairly' seems a massive understatement.

Maybe it will come down to how well our spinners go.

Oh ffs Moeen, that was really poor.

Likely to limp to 170 here. Fortunately England don't need Livingstone's bowling tonight though this depends on how Rehan Ahmed goes.

And Curran's another guy who needs to produce something substantial more often than he does. True for his domestic season too.
